The 3D Repo for Autodesk® AutoCAD® plugin provides a convenient way of uploading your models directly to 3D Repo from within the AutoCAD desktop application.

Currently supported versions: AutoCAD 2020, 2021 & 2022

Initial Setup

  • Before you upload your AutoCAD model, you will need to create a model container in 3D Repo. If you have one already, then you can skip this step

  • Download and install the plugin prior to opening the desktop application

  • Open your 3D model (.dwg) in AutoCAD

We advise you to take measurements and check that your AutoCAD model matches the model units in 3D Repo.
