Change your browser’s settings to use your dedicated graphics card for better visual performance
Follow the steps below in order to resolve common graphics performance issues. For the best optimal experience, please use one of the following 64-bit Web browsers. Below are links to the latest downloads:
Google Chrome
Open Google Chrome and navigate over to the Settings menu
Scroll down to the System section of the settings menu.
Ensure that ‘Use hardware acceleration when available’ is turned on
If Chrome is still not using the dedicated graphics card, you will need to enable the ‘Override software rendering list’. Here are the steps to enable it:
In the address bar, type in chrome://flags and hit Enter
Enable the ‘Override software rendering list’
Click on the Relaunch button to restart Google Chrome and save your settings
Microsoft Edge
Open Microsoft Edge and navigate over to the Settings menu
Click on the System section of the settings menu. Ensure that ‘Use hardware acceleration when available’ is turned on
Firefox Browser
Open Firefox Browser and navigate over to the Options menu
Scroll down to the Performance section of your browser's options. Ensure that ‘Use recommended performance settings’ is turned on
If Firefox is still not using the dedicated graphics card, you will need to disable the recommended performance settings. The new option ‘Use hardware acceleration when available’ will appear. Select it in order to use the dedicated graphics card.
