With 3D Repo's Issue Tracking feature, you can share documents and web links with other users by adding them to existing issues. You can attach just about anything, most commonly people share PDFs, Images/Videos, URL links and Word/Excel documents.

Attachments

Attachments work with existing issues only. You will have to create an issue first and then add resources to it. Here is where you can find it:

  • Open an existing issue and head over to the Attachments tab

  • Click on Add Resource

Add/Remove a File

  • In the Files tab, click to open a file or drag and drop it into the square box

  • You can edit the file name (displayed in 3D Repo)

  • To remove the file click on the grey Minus button

  • Click on the green Save button to upload them

Add/Remove a Link

  • In the Links tab, click on Add Link

  • Type a Resource title and paste the URL link

  • To remove it click on the grey Minus button

  • Click on the Save button

Open/Access a File

The new resources instantly appear in the Issue Attachments tab.

Here is how you can interact with them:

  • Keep adding as many resources as you want and/or delete them

  • Click on each resource to open it.

  • Quote a resource as a reference link which appears in the Comments section to share it in the conversation with other people.
