Are you using 3D Repo and wondering how you can add/edit custom Issue or Risk types and where to access the SafetiBase CSV import/export option? Then this article is for you. We'll cover the following:

Teamspace Settings Menu

Head over to 3drepo.io and log in to your personal account. In the right corner of the screen below the My teamspace: section, click on the settings icon (gear) to open the Teamspace Settings.

Note that you'll be able to provide the same changes to other people/company accounts if you are assigned as Teamspace Admin.

Add/Remove Custom Issues Types and Risks Categories

Issues Types

  • You can add as many Issues Types as you want

  • Simply type in your custom issue type where you see the prompt message 'Enter new issue type...'

  • To remove an existing or custom type from the list, click on the X button

  • Click on the green Save button

These custom types will be visible under the Types field in your 3D Repo issues as shown below:

Risks Categories

  • Similarly to Issues Types, you can add as many risks categories as you want

  • Simply type in your custom risk category where you see the prompt message 'Enter new category...'

  • To remove an existing or custom category from the list, click on the X button

  • Click on the green Save button

These custom categories will be visible under the Risk Category field in your 3D Repo SafetiBase risks as shown below:

Import/Export SafetiBase CSV for Risks Treatment Suggestion

Under Treatment Suggestions, check out these further functionalities:

  1. The date indicates when the Treatment Suggestions list was last updated

  2. Import CSV (pen icon)

  3. Export CSV (download icon)

  4. Get Template

Typically in 3D Repo, you'll want to firstly download the template by clicking on Get Template (4). Then, you can open and use this CSV template to fill in the columns according to the fields indicated.

Thirdly, upload that file to 3D Repo by clicking on the Import CSV button (2) and choosing it from the window dialog. The treatment suggestion list is now updated in 3D Repo and the date (1) on the left indicates it. You'll be able to see the changes in the Treatment tab of any risk you create in the relevant teamspace.

If you need to export the existing list in 3D Repo, just click on the Export CSV button (3) to download it locally.
